EVENT GOALS Terms and

CONDITIONS

  1. This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Event Goals and the client and supersedes all previous representations, negotiations, commitments and communications, whether written or oral, between the parties.

  2. A booking fee is non-refundable – In the event that more than one client wishes to book our services on the same day, preference will go to the first client to pay the booking fee.

  3. Rescheduled events will only be accommodated if the new date does not conflict with another booked event. If the event is cancelled or postponed by the client within 7 days of the event taking place, Event Goals as the right to charge the full agreed fee, minus any hours they would have worked on the day of the event.

  4. It is the client’s responsibility to secure access for Event Goals in all locations, at the times arranged between both parties, so Event Goals can fulfil the requirements and work agreed on.

  5. Creative aspects such as styling and layout are at the discretion of Event Goals, but will be checked off prior to event day with clients to ensure both parties are on the same page.

  6. Event Goals will not be held liable for any problems beyond our control including but not limited to, bad weather, accidents, vendors not delivering items, lighting, interference from guests or photographers.

  7. Event Goals reserves the right to remove themselves and any equipment at any time if there appears to be a potential danger to themselves or equipment; belligerent or intoxicated people; hazardous fireworks; careless discharge of firearms; heavy smoking, drugs, nudity etc. No refund or other compensation shall be given in such cases.

  8. Event Goals reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time for any reasonable cause, e.g. accident or ill health. In this case all monies paid will be refunded in full including the booking fee. If the Event Goals representative is unwell on the day; sub-contracting will apply. No discount to the original package will apply.

  9. Any liability on the part of Event Goals will be limited to the amount of monies paid.

  10. Event Goals reserves the right to use photos taken by our team and your photographer for advertising purposes and on our social media platforms.

  11. The remaining balance of the package selected will be invoiced either in instalments between now and the event date or one week prior to the event date– whichever option both parties agree to.

  12. Invoices are sent via online, and will need to be paid within their due date. Failure to pay invoices may result in cancellation of our services, with no refund on booking fee.

  13. Additional hours and work might be needed on the day of the event, which was not originally agreed to in the initial quote. If this happens, and we are able to assist with the additional work, there will be an additional $70 (plus GST) per hour charged to the client, after the event.

  14. If the event is cancelled or postponed due to circumstances outside of Event Goals control, including but not limited to pandemics, earthquakes, flooding, fire and bad weather, then Event Goals reserves the right to charge any hours worked on the event prior to cancellation but any additional admin fees incurred due to the cancelation or postponement.

  15. COVID 19 Policy: Booked dates may not be altered, changed or postponed due to COVID-19. Any changes or postponements will incur another contract to be signed and another non-refundable booking fee to be paid. Please note this includes postponements due to travel restrictions. The only exception to this rule is if we are in a "lockdown" or restricted COVID level 3 or higher in which instant the date/booking fee may be transferable to ONE other date within 12 months.
